Tottenham have been forced to condemn online racist abuse for the second time in less than 24 hours after chairman Daniel Levy was targeted on social media. Spurs have reported an anti-semitic post to Twitter and the police, and reiterated calls for action from social media giants. The post, which referenced offensive anti-semitic tropes and has since been deleted, was highlighted by Spurs fan and Tottenham MP David Lammy and came in response to a tweet from the north London club’s account following yesterday's defeat to Manchester United.
Sport will pay its respects to the Duke of Edinburgh by moving fixtures and halting play while his funeral is taking place on Saturday. The Football League have confirmed that they will move all 32 of their 3pm BST fixtures to avoid clashing with the funeral, while the only 3pm kick-off in the Premier League - Wolves v Sheffield United - has been rescheduled for 8:15pm. Cricket’s County Championship will pause for more than an hour and the British Horseracing Authority have agreed that no racing will take place between 2.45pm and 4.15pm.
