Rosemary Burns, the widow of Celtic legend Tommy Burns, has died after falling ill on a flight from Tenerife to Glasgow. The Jet2 plane made an emergency landing in Cork, Ireland, after declaring an on-board incident in the early hours of 3 July. Mrs Burns, 69, became unwell while on holiday in Tenerife and decided to fly home early, a source close to the family told the Daily Record.
