    Los Angeles Angels sign longtime Reds RHP Michael Lorenzen

    Right-hander Michael Lorenzen agreed to a $6.75 million, one-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night. The Anaheim native spent his first seven major league seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, making 295 appearances mostly as a reliever. Lorenzen also is an excellent hitter for a pitcher, batting .233 over his career with seven homers and 24 RBIs in 147 career plate appearances.

    Twins start rotation rebuild, sign Dylan Bundy to $5M deal

    The Minnesota Twins signed right-hander Dylan Bundy to a $5 million, one-year contract on Wednesday, taking their first step toward rebuilding a depleted rotation. Bundy will make $4 million in 2022. Bundy went 2-9 with a 6.06 ERA in 90 2/3 innings last season for the Los Angeles Angels, starting 19 of his 23 appearances and spending time on the injured list with shoulder trouble.

    LA Angels re-sign closer Raisel Iglesias to $58 million deal

    Closer Raisel Iglesias agreed to a four-year, $58 million deal Wednesday night to stay with the Los Angeles Angels. Iglesias was outstanding in his first season with the Angels after they acquired him in a trade with Cincinnati a year ago. Iglesias was the best thing to happen to the Angels' annually beleaguered bullpen in several years, and his team didn't take it for granted.
