Frost scores in shootout to lift the Flyers to a 3-2 win over the Canucks

Morgan Frost scored the deciding goal in the fifth round of the shootout and the Philadelphia Flyers opened their season with a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Friday night. Tyson Forester and Cam York scored in regulation for the Flyers, and Samuel Ersson finished with 24 saves. Teddy Blueger and Nils Hoglander scored for the Canucks, and Kevin Lankinen made 30 saves in his Vancouver debut.
