The Sun report that the 1D hottie has been sending the TV Presenter a string of texts in the past two weeks while the One Direction boys take a break following their tour of America.

And not just that the paper reports he's never 'quite got over what he had with Caroline.'
The texts have apparently been sent to test the water and see if he was still in with a chance.

A source claims Caroline is 'wary' because of the abuse One Direction fans gave her —she received death threats when it emerged she was dating Harry.
