Fulham set to confirm Andre Schurrle capture
Andre Schurrle is finalising a move to Fulham on an initial season-long loan.
The 27-year-old former Chelsea forward — who scored a hat-trick at Craven Cottage in 2014 — has been in talks over a switch from Borussia Dortmund and was in London on Wednesday for a medical.
Schurrle, who has cost around £70million in fees during his career, is keen on a return to the Premier League and Fulham are likely to complete the deal this week. Dortmund confirmed last weekend that Schurrle had been released from their tour of the US.

Landing the Germany forward would be another coup for Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic following the signings of Jean Michael Seri and Maxime Le Marchand in a combined £30m deal from Nice.
Schurrle has struggled with injuries and form in recent years but won the World Cup with Germany in 2014 and enjoyed some good times at Chelsea.
He joined them from Bayer Leverkusen for £18m in 2013, scored 14 goals in 65 appearances and left for Wolfsburg for £22.6m.

He joined Dortmund for £27million in 2016 but has been allowed to leave the German club by new manager Lucien Favre.
Schurrle will become Fulham’s fourth signing this summer after the club added return to the £5m goalkeeper Fabri from Besiktas yesterday.
