2024 NFL regular season: Complete week-by-week schedule for 18-week, 17-game slate
The NFL's 272-game 2024 slate kicked off with the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Baltimore Ravens in a rematch of last season's AFC championship game at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 5. The Chiefs are taking aim at history this season, vying to become the league's first team to win the Super Bowl in three consecutive seasons.
A day later, the NFL held its first game in Brazil, when the Philadelphia Eagles "hosted" the Green Bay Packers in São Paolo.
The Brazil game is the first of five International Series games for the 2024 season, with three games to be held in London and one game in Munich, Germany.
In addition to the traditional three Thanksgiving Day games, the NFL will play two games on Christmas Day as well (on Netflix), despite the holiday landing on a Wednesday. The Black Friday game — which was held for the first time last season — also returns for the 2024 season.
