This year's NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame class featured four of the best players to ever take the field, but some of this year's omissions from the list of modern finalists were genuinely shocking.

From a two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback to one of the best linebackers to ever play in the NFL, we were genuinely surprised to see that these players didn't make the cut this year.

While some of these guys may well make it into the Pro Football Hall of Fame one day, they will be "snubs" for now. Let's run through these seven players whose omissions surprised us the most.
