Ian Woosnam wins his only Masters title, and at 5 foot, 4 1/2 inches, becomes the shortest Masters winner in history. Tied at 11 under on the 72nd hole, Woosnam made a eight-foot par putt on 18 while Tom Watson, his playing companion, made double bogey and Jose Maria Olazabal, playing one group earlier, made bogey.
