A total of £60,000 has been raised for the Charity 2Wish by friends and family of Rebecca and Harry Foster, who sadly lost their daughter Olivia at just 15 months old of a rare heart condition called Acute myocarditis which is a sudden inflammation of the heart muscle, writes Merv Colenutt.

The Street football clubs leading goalscorer Harry Foster said "Olivia was with us for 15 months, she was a bundle of energy and we now live by a motto, more like Olivia, it means enjoy the positives in life, making the most of the time you are given, supporting others as well as Olivia.

"Olivia was so much fun and we take a lot of comfort in the fact, despite only being fifteen months, she only ever knew, fub, love and happiness and even up into the day before she , we were in the park together and we were all having a blast.

"Moving onto the 2Wish charity, at first we had no support at all for around 3 months, there wasn't a charity who had a professional company who could support us, we were looking, here, there and everywhere, Becky was looking online for a charity to help, eventually a year ago in the January of 2024, Becky did find a charity with professional support.

"At the time 2Wish was a Welsh charity and it was in the January of last year, 2Wish expanded their charity into England.

"Becky analysed it brilliantly, it was like we were struck down a deep dark well and 2Wish lifted the lid and helped let in that little bit of light.

Becky added "there are some amazing charities out there, but with Olivia, her illness was so unexpected and the age that she was, it didn't really fit into other charities that could help.

"2Wish took us under their wing and all the money that eventually gets raised, is to help with several aspects after losing a child and it became an instant support.

"2Wish aim to be with that family all hours of the day and all the money goes on things like bereavement rooms, something we are really pushing for at the moment, that then goes on play therapy for siblings, counselling sessions, help get bereaved families together and share experiences."
