The 8 best way-too-early picks to win the 2026 Super Bowl
Jalen Hurts said "this is only the beginning" Sunday night after the Philadelphia Eagles dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs as Super Bowl champions.
"The end ain't coming anytime soon," he told reporters.
We'll be the judge of that.
Betting odds for the 2026 Super Bowl are live and it's never too early to find value in which teams might be next to climb the mountaintop. Here's a look at the top eight picks (today) to win it all next year, with odds from BetMGM.
8. Detroit Lions (+800)
The Lions are still on the short list of contenders, though I'm less bullish on them at odds this short after both coordinators bolted for head-coaching jobs.
7. Washington Commanders (+2000)
When you can get a conference finalist at these odds, you have to take it, but a step back isn't out the question for Washington if it doesn't nail the offseason. The Commanders won in spite of some flaws they desperately need to address. That's before we get around to seeing how Jayden Daniels and Kliff Kingsbury respond to defensive adjustments in year two.
6. Green Bay Packers (+2000)
I like the foundation in place for Green Bay. They need consistency from Jordan Love and maybe a big wide receiver threat -- and the defense could use some reinforcements too. But this is a team still trending up in my eyes.
5. Buffalo Bills (+750)
The Bills have a chance to build on a wildly successful 2024 with a strong offseason, but they have to find a big playmaker for both sides of the ball. Regardless, Josh Allen gives them a chance.
4. Houston Texans (+2500)
The Texans are higher on this list than expected because I like the value on their odds a little better than some other teams. Their defense is great, they play in a weak division and C.J. Stroud will be better with a better offensive line.
3. Kansas City Chiefs (+750)
It's easy to feel down about the Chiefs after the Super Bowl, but we can't forget they were a 15-2 team. As long as they address the offensive line in the offseason, they'll be great again.
2. Baltimore Ravens (+700)
The Ravens have some things to address in the offseason, but if Derrick Henry is back to flank Lamar Jackson next year, I like their chances to remain among the NFL's elite teams.
1. Philadelphia Eagles (+650)
Jalen Hurts might be right. Philadelphia's biggest loss this offseason might end up being offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, which isn't insignificant, but with so many great players returning, you feel like they'll be able to adjust and remain a dominant force in the NFL.
