9 players could get Liverpool chance vs Accrington Stanley with Federico Chiesa decision
Liverpool boss Arne Slot needs to manage the needs of his roster cleverly in the next few weeks with so many matches coming up. That means a visit from League Two Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup is likely to yield a number of changes to his starting XI.
While Slot has rarely made wholesale alterations to his team, the Liverpool head coach has done so successfully in the Carabao Cup. The chances are, he will take the opportunity to do something similar here.
As a result, we've taken a look at some of the stars who could come in to get some minutes. There is a good chance that some young talents including Trey Nyoni could get some action.

Defense
The full-back positions will be interesting. Kostas Tsimikas and Conor Bradley both started midweek at Spurs but you would imagine they could get the chance to go again. Looking rusty in North London, it would probably make sense.
At center-back, there are much fewer options. Virgil van Dijk should be given the day off but Jarell Quansah should be back from illness. Wataru Endo might be required at the heart of the defense alongside him. Amara Nallo, 18, could be one to watch too.
Midfield
Like Van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch should be nowhere near this game. If Endo is needed in the defense, that might then require some creativity in midfield because Tyler Morton had a knock that kept him out of the trip to Tottenham.
Young talent Nyoni was trusted away at Southampton so should get another go here. Harvey Elliott should be nailed on to start and then it might be a choice between Morton and James McConnell.
Attack
This is where Liverpool could be strongest. Darwin Nunez is in need of minutes (and a goal or two) and that is even more true of Federico Chiesa. Jayden Danns could be another forward option, while Luis Diaz didn't start at Tottenham so could maybe get an hour here which wouldn't tire him too much. Seventeen-year-old rising star Rio Ngumoha is another who could possibly come off the bench.
Ultimately, whatever team Liverpool picks should have enough to book its place in the fourth-round draw. Slot has not used that many young players in comparison to Jurgen Klopp so far, but a mixture of wonderkids and those more senior options who need to play are highly likely to get the job done and their team over the line.
