Aaron Ramsey gives eight-word review after his Gavin & Stacey shout-out
Gavin & Stacey was back on our screens last night for the last-ever episode of the sitcom - and it didn't disappoint.
The BBC show from James Corden and Ruth Jones wrapped up on Christmas Day with the perfect ending to a programme that has enthralled audiences for the best part of two decades.
The show is known for its subtle yet niche sporting references - former Coventry City goalkeeper Steve Ogrizovic, anyone? - and the finale also included a few more, this time with a far more recognisable name.

Wales captain and Cardiff City midfielder Aaron Ramsey got a shout-out in last night's special, which the man himself has commented on after watching the show.
With Corden's character, Smithy, building up to his stag party, Gavin, Uncle Bryn and Co all dress up in West Ham shirts - the club Smithy supports.
However, in typical Uncle Bryn fashion, he took it perhaps one step too far and went for full-on Hammers kit - including shorts and socks.
When the big reveal takes place in the pub, Budgie, Pete and Jason et al all look at Bryn with bemusement.
"Bryn-la, look at you!" says Fingers.
"I know," replies Rob Brydon's loveable character. "It's meant to be just the shirt, of course it is, but I was on the website and I thought 'no, I'm getting the whole kit and caboodle!' I feel fantastic! Like a young Aaron Ramsey!"
Ramsey, who celebrates his birthday on Boxing Day, loved the episode, judging by his post on social media.
"What a finale," he wrote on Instagram, accompanied by two applause emojis. "Always count on Uncle Bryn."
The response to the final-ever episode of the show has been universally gushing. You can read our review here.
