His record since going pro is nineteen wins with seven knockouts and only one defeat, as he has emerged as one of Scotland’s brightest boxing prospects, earning praise for his dedication to the sport.

Sutherland's opponent Walsh is quickly making waves in the United States boxing scene, with the 23-year-old dubbed 'King' Callum Walsh, and he has garnered attention for his explosive power and crowd pleasing style.

Walsh also holds an impressive record, remaining undefeated as he has won all twelve of his bouts, winning ten by knockout.

Walsh will be seen as having a home advantage, only fighting out of the US once, while already competing inside the Madison Square Garden twice.

For Sutherland, this will be his first time fighting outside of the UK, with the chance to further his popularity globally after his latest victory in the ring at Aberdeen's Beach Ballroom at the tail end of 2024.

The clash between the two promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both fighters eager to make a statement on one of boxing’s biggest stages.
