Aberdeen transfer latest as Dons target Oday Dabbagh and overseas defender
Aberdeen are looking to sign Palestinian international Oday Dabbagh before Monday's transfer deadline.
The Dons are currently in talks to sign the striker, who has scored 16 goals in 45 appearances for Palestine, on what would initially be a loan deal from Belgian side Charleroi.
Dabbah is well known to the new Dons head of recruitment Nuno De Almeida, having met the frontman during his time in Portugal with Arouca.

The 26-year-old kicked off his career with Hilal Al-Quds and then moved on to Al-Salmiya and Qadsia. He then had a successful stint in Kuwait with Al-Arabi.
Aberdeen were also interested in AC Milan striker Marko Lazetic but have cooled that interest with the fear it could be scuppered by red tape, writes the Daily Record.

The 21-year-old would have had to be recalled from his loan at Serbian club Backa Topola. The biggest issue was the uncertainty over a work permit with the Serbian only being an under-21 cap.
The concern in the Dons camp is that it could have been a long and drawn out process.
Aberdeen are still looking to bring in another central defender and are well down the road with an overseas target.
Meanwhile, Exeter City are closing in on a deal for Aberdeen defender Angus MacDonald, with the 32-year-old out of contract at the end of the season.

The League One side are looking to complete a move ahead of the transfer deadline, with the defender having fallen down the pecking order under Thelin.
That has alerted Grecians boss Gary Caldwell who wants to bring in the experienced centre-half to help keep them out of relegation trouble.
MacDonald has been left out of the last two Aberdeen squads. The big Englishman moved to Pittodrie from Swindon Town back in 2023.
