Aberdeen's Dimitar Mitov ruled out for four weeks with 'minor injury' ahead of Ross County clash
Aberdeen have been dealt another injury blow with Dimitar Mitov ruled out for four weeks just days after returning from a hamstring issue.
The Bulgarian was in impressive form against Dundee United last time out, but Jimmy Thelin will be without his starting keeper for this afternoon's Ross County clash, with his latest injury confirmed just over an hour before kick-off at Pittodrie.
Ross Doohan will once again fill the void with the former Hoops stopper tasked with helping the Reds to a first Premiership victory in nine games after a challenging end to 2024.

Victory over the Staggies could lift the Dons into second in the table should Rangers drop lose in their Old Firm battle with Celtic, with the game still set to go ahead despite heavy snow in the north-east.
Aberdeen did not specify the nature of Mitov's injury, as the confirmed in a post on X: "Dimitar Mitov has sustained a minor injury and will be out of action for around four weeks. We wish you a speedy recovery Dimi."
