Adam Armstrong on his West Brom debut and the challenge that lies ahead
Goalscorer Adam Armstrong says he is not setting himself any individual targets despite getting his loan from Southampton off to the best possible start last weekend.
Armstrong scored the first in a last gasp 2-1 win over play off rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday lunchtime. It was a massive win and leaves them in fifth position.
Armstrong's signing has caused plenty of excitement amongst the fanbase and it will not have been dampened down after his agile finish to put them ahead. But, despite that, he has no targets in mind for how many more he can get from now until the end of the season.

"I never set targets because I feel like that just puts added pressure on you so I always take every game as it comes, try and help the boys on the pitch and if my goals can help then that is amazing but the first important thing is the three points," he explained.
"I have been in the Championship a few years now and this stage of the season is massive. You need to win these sort of games and for us to get that last minute winner was incredible and we are looking forward to Wednesday."
Speaking to WBA TV after the game, he reminisced on his goal and the feeling when Molumby's late winner went on: "It was a tough game. We knew what to expect but when the chance came I had a chance to put it away and it was a nice finish.
"I think it was just instinct really. I thought about my head and then I thought I probably won't be able to get good contact on it and I went with my foot and it was nice when I saw it roll in the bottom corner. When I got the goal it was an unbelievable atmosphere.
"You saw Jayson at the end, it was incredible and it was a well deserved three points because I thought we were the better team and it would have been a shame to get a point so that just topped the day off.
"The lads are buzzing. We just have to move forward now and, as cliche as it is, we have to take every game as it comes because it's an important stage of the season but we will look back on this as a massive three points.
"It takes a lot of guts. You saw the lads fighting to the very end and you always know that there is going to be one chance and luckily for us it was on our side and we got the goal and the three points.
"Obviously every game is important but when you are at home you want to show your dominance in a game which we did. It would have been a shame to get a point. It was massive for momentum. Going into Wednesday, obviously it is a quick turnaround and then Saturday. It's fast."
Next up for Armstrong and his team mates is a trip to Blackburn, who sit one place below, them. Armstrong is no stranger to Ewood Park having played there under Tony Mowbray and he said: "I have still got a few mates there and a lot of people that I know around the club. It will be a great game and I can't wait to see a few of the boys."
