Agent drops transfer hint over potential Leicester City exit
Cagliari are keen on under-used Leicester City defender Caleb Okoli, according to reports in Italy.
Website TuttoCagliari.net claims they have ‘set their sights’ on the 23-year-old as a replacement for Mateusz Wieteska who is set to join PAOK.
The centre back was linked to the Serie A outfit last summer but instead he chose to come to England after the Foxes returned to the Premier League, signing a five-year contract under the previous manager Steve Cooper.

However, since Ruud van Nistelrooy has come in the former Atalanta man has been on the bench in five of the last eight Premier League matches and played just eight minutes in 2025.
The website claims to quote Okoli’s agent, Alessandro Barison, who, via Sport Witness, confirmed the contacts: "Yes, for the moment there has been a negotiation. Let's see what happens between now and the end of the market".
City are looking to make space in their squad to help van Nistelrooy make additions, with right back Woyo Coulibaly the only addition so far. The story says Cagliari, who are 14th in the table, are interested in a loan rather than a full transfer.
