Airdrie v Falkirk: Diamonds can look at drop rivals Dunfermline for inspiration to upset leaders, says Hancock
Mason Hancock reckons Airdrie must take a leaf out of Dunfermline's book if they are to upset leaders Falkirk tonight.
It is top versus bottom at New Broomfield with the Diamonds still reeling from last week's last-gasp defeat to derby rivals Hamilton that leaves them 10 points adrift of Dunfermline at the foot of the table.
The Pars took a point off of Falkirk in a 3-3 thriller last Friday night and Hancock feels their rivals showed a maturity to get something from the game, which the Diamonds must now find to start the new year right.

The defender said: "It was quite a scrappy game when Dunfermline played Falkirk but they played with maturity and got a point out of the game.
"That is something we need to start realising ourselves. If a game isn't going our way, how do we get a point out of it instead of a defeat? How can we see a game out?
"We need to get the mature side of the game right.
"We are hurting from last week, there's no doubt about it, but we need to brush this off quickly.
"As young men, as footballers this will do us the world of good, knowing what it is like to be in this situation, but the reality is we haven't got a lot of time to turn it around.
"Some people might see that there are a lot of games to be played - and there are - but it will go by pretty quickly so we need to grow up fast, and really start showing teams that we are young men, not young kids."
