Ake, Bobb, Stones - Man City injury latest and return dates
Manchester City's injury crisis is beginning to ease but the Blues were dealt another blow in advance of their Premier League game with Ipswich Town.
Pep Guardiola has welcomed several players back into the fold in recent weeks but Nathan Ake sat out the trip to Portman Road with an injury. Ruben Dias returned to action for the first time since the Manchester derby in his place after recovering from an issue of his own.
City cantered to a 6-0 success over Kieran McKenna's side to propel themselves into the top four and Guardiola will be hoping the end is in sight for what has seemed a never ending injury crisis this term. Here's the latest from the Etihad treatment room.

Nathan Ake

What we know: Ake was not involved at Ipswich with the club confirming he was out injured. It is unclear what the issue is or when he might be fit to return to action but the hope at City will be the problem is not serious.

Oscar Bobb
Injury: Fractured leg
What we know: Bobb has not featured for City this season having picked up a serious issue in pre-season. But he is closing in on a comeback in what will be a welcome addition to the squad. Guardiola said this month: “[He is] training with the team partially. That’s good news for us. It was a fractured bone. Now that is healed, he’s fine but good news is he’s back.”

John Stones
Injury: Unknown
What we know: Stones has not featured since the defeat to Aston Villa and updates on his progress have been vague. He has suffered an injury-hit season and is unlikely to figure again this month.

Rodri
Injury: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)
What we know: Rodri has sustained a serious knee injury and will be out until the middle of next year. He has spoken of his desire to play again this season, possibly in the Club World Cup.
