Alan Shearer will be on co-commentary duty for Aston Villa's clash against Tottenham Hotspur. Unai Emery and Ange Postecoglou will lock horns at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon in the FA Cup fourth round, as they both hope to get their hands on some silverware.

The home side will be eager to return to winning ways after losing 2-0 to Wolves last weekend. Villa have won just two of their last six games across all competitions since defeating West Ham in the FA Cup third round last month.

Spurs will be just as eager to progress into the next round after crashing out of the Carabao Cup on Thursday night. While the Lilywhites have struggled to impress this season, Postecoglou vowed to win a trophy in his second term at the start of the season.

In what is expected to be an exciting tie between two Premier League outfits, Shearer will be in the gantry at Villa Park. The Newcastle United legend will be joined by Steve Bower for the BBC's coverage.

Mark Chapman will present the show on BBC One, and he'll be joined by three pundits: Joe Hart, Dion Dublin and Jermaine Defoe. Shearer graced our television screens on Saturday to provide analysis for Birmingham City's clash against the Magpies.

Fortunately for the Geordie, his beloved boyhood club waltzed away 3-2 victors. While Shearer will spend the weekend in Birmingham covering the FA Cup, he's a family man at heart. He's been married to Lainya for nearly 34 years, and he has two daughters and a son: Chloe (31), Hollie (29) and Will (24).

His children have each amassed significant followings on Instagram; Will has 16,000 followers, Chloe closes in on 20,000 and Hollie leads the pack with an impressive 82,000. The latter of which got engaged to rugby union star Joe Marchant in November.

The England international, who currently plays for Stade Francais in France, proposed to Shearer's daughter in Paris, with Hollie proudly displaying a large diamond ring against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower. The couple went public with their relationship in April 2022, before moving in together in the French capital last year.

Since starting their relationship, Shearer previously joked that his daughter has shown more interest in rugby than football. When asked about Marchant on social media, the all-time Premier League top goal scorer said: "I'm just glad it's not a footballer."

Shearer's eldest daughter, Chloe, has also taken her father's dating advice – she's in a relationship with a former rugby player called Micky Young. The 36-year-old enjoyed two stints at Newcastle Falcons before leaving the last year to spend his final season at Gloucester.

In August, it was announced by the Tyneside outfit that Young would be honoured with a testimonial year, featuring a football dinner event with Shearer himself.
