The agents of Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho were at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea's Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday night.

Garnacho, 20, has been linked with a shock move away from United this month, with Chelsea one of several sides interested in the Argentina international if he is made available for transfer.

Earlier this month, football.london's sister site, the Manchester Evening News, reported that United could be forced to sell the forward this month in a bid to comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules.

It is claimed that United are "under increasing pressure to sell a highly-valuable academy player," which would represent pure profit under the Premier League's PSR rules.

On Monday night, however, speculation that Garnacho could join the Blues was fuelled further by the fact that Carlos Cambeiro and Quique De Lucas from the Leaders agency, who count the United forward as one of their clients, were present at Stamford Bridge.

Last week, The Athletic claimed that the Blues had enquired to United about the possibility of signing Garnacho this month to bolster their options in attack.

There is also interest in Garnacho from Italy, with Serie A leaders Napoli reportedly seeing a bid for the Argentina international rejected last week.

Asked about Garnacho's future, United manager Ruben Amorim said: "He has talent. He needs to learn to play in a different position. He needs to play better inside.

"He improves a lot in the recovering position when he doesn't have the ball. But doing that, sometimes he's not in the right place to make transitions like he was in the past. I prefer to defend and then build up with all the team to reach the final third.

"He's finding the best way to play in this system. He's improving during training. He started the last game. Let's see tomorrow. I think he changed the way he sees himself."
