Alejandro Garnacho to Chelsea transfer stance as Jamie Gittens talks revealed
Chelsea are interested in both Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens but they are two of numerous left wingers being spoken about internally.
football.london understands the Blues are looking to sign a new left winger and both Garnacho and Gittens have been identified as players of interest. Mykhailo Mudryk is currently provisionally suspended by the FA after failing a drugs test last month.
Jadon Sancho has been Enzo Maresca's go-to man on the left side in Mudryk's absence, while Joao Felix and Pedro Neto can also be used on that wing. Garnacho has been identified as a possible solution with Manchester United considering selling the Argentine amid financial pressures and the club's need to meet the Premier League's Profitability and Sustainability Rules.

However, United manager Ruben Amorim has recently insisted Garnacho has a future at Old Trafford despite reports that he could leave Manchester this month. Amorim said: "That is clear [he has a future at the club]. He has talent.
"He's finding the best way to play in this system. He's improving during training. He started the last game. Let's see tomorrow [vs Southampton]. I think he changed the way he sees himself."
Meanwhile, Gittens has been flourishing for Borussia Dortmund in Germany, scoring 11 goals in all competitions for the Black and Yellow this season. While both of them have been identified as targets, it is uncertain whether any movement will be made this month or in the summer transfer window.
Garnacho and Gittens are the latest names to be linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, but football.london understands Chelsea are also interested in Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich. The 19-year-old is a long-term target of the Blues' after the club made a firm enquiry for the German last summer.
With Bayern interested in signing Christopher Nkunku this month, Chelsea asked about the possibility of Tel coming the other way. If the Blues are to get any form of encouragement from the Bavarian club, then the west Londoners will not hesitate to submit an official offer.
