Alejandro Garnacho drops Chelsea transfer bombshell with five-word Man United statement
Alejandro Garnacho has appeared to end any speculation over a move to Chelsea from Manchester United before Monday night's transfer deadline.
The Argentine winger has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford as United aim to boost their PSR position. Given that Garnacho is a homegrown talent, his potential sale would be pure profit for the Red Devils, bolstering their capacity to sign new players.
Football.london understands the Blues have not ruled out making a last minute move for Garnacho. The 20-year-old emerged as a target last month with United said to be open to doing business.

Chelsea have been looking to sign a left-sided winger with Mykhailo Mudryk currently unavailable following a failed drugs test in December. Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich is a long-term target, but the Frenchman appears to have decided on a move to Tottenham Hotspur on loan.
And Garnacho also appears to have hinted that he won't be making the move to Stamford Bridge before Monday's 11pm deadline. The forward has posted a picture of himself on his Instagram stories alongside the words, "we will try again Friday..." after United's 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
Ruben Amorim's side will face Leicester City in the FA Cup on Friday evening, with Garnacho appearing to confirm that he will still be in Manchester for the game. The young star has become a regular fixture in Amorim's team since being dropped alongside Marcus Rashford for the Manchester derby in December.
Garnacho has played in every United game since the Portuguese left him out against Manchester City. The winger has also played over 80 minutes under Amorim in United's last two fixtures, further hinting that he will stay beyond Monday's deadline.
