Alejandro Garnacho fires new two-word Man United message as Chelsea face £80m transfer dilemma
Chelsea transfer target Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to assist Kobbie Mainoo's goal in Manchester United's Europa League win against FCSB on Thursday evening. The Blues are interested in a January move for Garnacho as Enzo Maresca looks to add another winger to his squad.
Jamie Gittens and Mathys Tel have also been linked to a Stamford Bridge switch, with the latter of huge interest to several Premier League clubs. Initially, it was made clear the 19-year-old wanted to stay at Bayern Munich, but that has since changed with Tottenham exploring a permanent move.
Manchester United and Aston Villa are also eyeing a loan which, could see the Blues' focus go back onto Garnacho. Serie A leaders Napoli have already submitted an offer for the Argentine international, but that was rejected by United, with their interest subsequently turning to Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi.

The 23-year-old has since decided to stay in Germany which may in turn see the race for Garnacho heat up once again, with Chelsea ready to step up their interest in signing Garnacho before the transfer window closes, according to L'Equipe.
Their report claims that United are demanding an £80million fee to sell the 20-year-old and the only way Chelsea can afford that is by selling Christopher Nkunku. There are clearly a number of moving parts to the Garnacho deal but it is entirely possible it is completed alongside some other moves.
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Nkunku and would have the money to do so permanently if Tel joins Spurs with a fee of £50.2million (€60m) already agreed. Garnacho to Chelsea would then very much be on with the winger sending a Man United message after their win in Europe.
Posting to Instagram, alongside a picture of him with fellow Chelsea target Mainoo, Garnacho wrote: "Away days [ice cold and finger up emoji]."
Though he picked up his fourteenth goal contribution of the season on Thursday evening, Garnacho could find himself playing even less following a big Ruben Amorim decision. With Toby Collyer, Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes named in the starting XI, the latter looked set to play further up.
However, it soon became clear that it was Mainoo playing in attack, and with the 19-year-old impressing, he could be deployed there more often, with Amorim now having seven options, including Garnacho, that can play in his front three.
