Napoli have made a huge transfer decision amid an ongoing interest in Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho. The Italian side are actively on the hunt for a Khvicha Kvaratskhelia replacement after he joined Paris Saint-Germain for £59million (€70m) plus add-ons earlier on in the January window.

Garnacho has struggled for consistent minutes under Ruben Amorim and Old Trafford exit links have followed as such. Premier League rivals Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the Argentina international, with Jamie Gittens and Mathys Tel also of interest to the Blues.

Marcus Rashford is another United attacker that could depart in January, having not featured since early December, with Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund two teams pursuing a loan move. No major exit updates specifically on Rashford have been revealed, but plenty have emerged on Garnacho.

Just a few days ago, MEN Sport confirmed that United had rejected a £40million offer from Napoli for Garnacho. While it fell below their valuation, a departure from United has not been ruled out but his next club may not be Napoli with Antonio Conte identifying an alternative.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Napoli have made contact with Dortmund for Karim Adeyemi. The German club have already sold Donyell Malen this month but they are still open to allowing Adeyemi to leave over the coming weeks.

Following that report, another update came to light soon after which revealed that the two clubs are discussing a package between £38million (€45m) £42.7million (€50m). An approach has also been made with Adeyemi's camp to discuss personal terms.

Napoli are still interested in signing Garnacho but it now appears their focus is elsewhere with Conte keen to bolster his ranks as his side sit top of Serie A. It is unlikely both arrive in Naples but it currently appears as though Adeyemi is their preferred target.

With all of that being said, Garnacho could still be moved on as Chelsea continue to weigh up a move for the 20-year-old.
