Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott drop early Liverpool team news hint before Tottenham game
Alexis Mac Allister and Harvey Elliott have dropped early team news hints ahead of Liverpool's clash against Tottenham Hotspur. Jurgen Klopp will welcome the Lilywhites to Anfield on Sunday afternoon, knowing a win could revive their Premier League title dreams.
Spurs will be determined to return to winning ways following a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Thursday evening. The North Londoners have lost each of their last three games so Ange Postecoglou will be hoping for a reaction from his players.
As for the Reds, they tumbled to third last weekend, with any hope of now winning the English top flight a distant memory. Nevertheless, Mac Allister and Elliott have posted pre-match graphic previews of the Reds fixture to their respective Instagram stories.

Historically, this suggests that the duo will be involved in some capacity. Ryan Gravenberch and Szoboszlai Dominik have done the same, hinting that they too will feature at Anfield.
Speaking to reporters ahead the Tottenham bout, Klopp was asked what he expects from Postecoglou's side. The Liverpool boss said: "You expect a good footballing side. I understand 100 per cent, I watched the game last night and saw it was said they were not good enough.
"I thought they put Chelsea under pressure, Chelsea defended them well, pretty deep... scored the goals in the right moments, stuff like this. Chelsea did not bad, definitely not for the situation they are in especially, but if you don't defend Tottenham properly then they will still play through it.
"They made a few changes, obviously, [James] Maddison didn't start, [Rodrigo] Bentancur didn't start, so I'm not sure if they come back. I think that they have options to change, do they start with Son [Heung-min] up front or on the wing?
"So, I understand that Ange doesn't think it's a great moment because of their own expectations, but you can always see a clear footballing idea and that's what they still kept. We will have to be prepared for that.
"We have to defend really compact, if you don't do that then they'll play through because the idea is really obvious and they work now together nearly a year."
With that being said, Klopp will be relying on the likes of Mac Allister to step up and end the season on a high. While a few players have posted pre-match previews of the Liverpool game to their Instagram stories, it does not necessarily mean they will start.
