Alfie Bavidge has 'weight off his shoulders' as Aberdeen youngster nets Ayr United brace
Aberdeen youngster Alfie Bavidge admitted his delight in getting the weight off his shoulders at long last after scoring his first goals for Ayr United.
The on-loan Dons striker broke his duck in superb style, netting a brace at Somerset Park in a thrilling 5-2 victory over Championship leaders Falkirk last weekend.
A highly-rated prospect at Pittodrie, Bavidge was sent to Ayrshire for a season-long loan under former Aberdeen captain Scott Brown in a bid to continue his development, writes the Ayrshire Live.

He said: "It’s a massive win and we want to be challenging for the title. In order to do that we need to be winning games like these at home.
"It was a game you wanted to play in - we had lots of the ball and created lots of chances. My job was to come on at half time and try and kill them off. Thankfully I did that."
