I always wanted to play with Marcus Rashford – now Man United can make my dream come true
Marcus Rashford looks set to leave Manchester United and could well team up with a footballer who has always wanted to play alongside him.
The 27-year-old's representatives recently flew out to Italy to thrash out a potential move for the forward, amid links with Napoli and AC Milan. The latter have recently made room in their forward line for Rashford by sending striker Noah Okafor to RB Leipzig.
While it is currently unknown as to what Serie A side expects to sign him, it's clear what player would want Rashford to join him – former Chelsea forward and now AC Milan ace Tammy Abraham, who once said it is his dream to play in the same frontline as the United academy graduate.

In 2020, shortly after both were called up to the England squad, Abraham revealed his desire to one day play alongside Rashford. At the time, he told Copa 90: "Seeing someone on TV it's different to watching someone live, playing against them and playing with them.
“Seeing the things he does. The way he strikes the ball, his skills, his good feet, the way he beats players, it's just a dream to watch. I would love to [partner him for England]."

Rashford has not featured for United since the 2-1 away victory over Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League at the start of December. Ruben Amorim left him out of the squad for three consecutive Premier League matches, and while Rashford was on the bench for the home defeat to Newcastle United, Amorim did not bring him on.
Abraham would not be the only familiar face to greet Rashford at the San Siro, too. Fikayo Tomori and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who have played with Rashford for England, are also starring for the European giants. All three players lost their starting places at Chelsea but found a new lease of life in Italy.
Rashford has already ruled out the idea of chasing the money in Saudi Arabia, stating a move to the Middle East would be far too early in his career, while West Ham have emerged as a Premier League option, although finances due to his hefty wages make any deal tricky.
The forward, who has been at United since the age of seven years old, told Henry Winter how he is ready for a new challenge. In December, he said: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps.
"When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You're not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That's me as a person.
"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."
