Amad has revealed the nickname that he has given to Manchester United teammate Kobbie Mainoo.

United returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Fulham on Sunday night. Lisandro Martinez scored the decisive goal in the second half to help grab valuable three points for Ruben Amorim's team.

Mainoo was initially named on the bench by Amorim for that contest at Craven Cottage, instead naming Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes as a midfield pairing. Mainoo was introduced in the 81st minute, soon after Martinez scored what turned out to be the winning goal for United.

The win moved United above Crystal Palace into 12th place in the Premier League table. Less than 24 hours after United's victory, Amad posted a message on social media praising one of his teammates.

On his Instagram story, Amad posted a photo of himself, alongside Mainoo, in the aftermath of their 1-0 win over Fulham. In a one-word caption, Amad wrote: "Kobinho," seemingly handing the United midfielder a new nickname.

Mainoo will be aiming to return to the starting line-up when United meet Romanian side Steaua Bucharest in the Europa League on Thursday night (8pm). That will be followed by a return to Premier League action when United take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Amad has also earned plenty of praise, too, for his performances for United so far this season. The 22-year-old has scored several decisive goals for United, including a winning strike against Manchester City, a late equaliser against Liverpool and a match-winning hat-trick against Southampton.
