Hull FC chairman Andrew Thirkill will cover the costs of all junior tickets for the club’s opening Super League home game against Wigan Warriors next month. The Black and Whites are first in action at the MKM Stadium this year against the champions with the club putting on two ticket offers for the round two clash.

Thirkill purchased Hull alongside business partner David Hood last December, acquiring the club from Adam Pearson after entering a period of exclusivity. Becoming chairman of the club, he is now rewarding the loyalty of fans this winter with a ‘Kids Go Free’ offer, with the club selling over 7,500 memberships for the 2025 season.

The offer is available for all supporters aged 16 or under across the ground. These tickets are available in store only from the club’s MKM Stadium or St Stephen’s retail stores, and must be linked to an adult member or ticket purchaser – the offer is capped at six junior tickets per adult.

Elsewhere, the club are also bringing back their ‘Members Double’ offer, with members also to pick uk two additional tickets for just £10. Both ticket offers will be available until 5.00pm on Thursday 20th February – the day before the game.

Hoping for a big crowd, the Wigan game will be John Cartwright’s first home game as Hull head coach. Before that, the side begin their season with Challenge Cup action before heading to Perpignan to take on Catalans Dragons in their Super League opener.
