Andy Gray has blasted long-time friend and punditry partner Richard Keys for chopping and changing his allegiances between his former club Rangers and city rivals Celtic over the years.

The duo were controversially sacked from Sky Sports back in 2011 and have been working out in the Middle East since 2013 to front beIN Sports' coverage of the English Premier League. They are regularly joined by former top-flight stars such as Nigel de Jong or Jason McAteer to follow all the action at the weekend.

But ahead of Celtic's clash with Hibernian on Saturday - with Rangers facing Ross County in the early kick-off on Sunday - ex striker Gray, who scored five times in 16 games at Ibrox towards the end of his glittering career - poked fun at Keys for professing his love for the Hoops after pal Gordon Strachan took up the reins at Celtic Park came to an end.

After talking about similarly changing his views on the Merseyside rivalry between Liverpool and Everton on beIN Sports on Saturday, Keys admitted: "When [Gordon] Strachan took over at Celtic, I had to become a Celtic fan."

That led Gray to cheekily retort: "So then when Strach left, when Strach left, he said to me, ‘I’m back with Rangers now’, I said we don’t want you, we’re not having you back."
