Andy Robertson on course to break Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish's proud record
Steve Clarke believes there's every chance Andy Robertson could hang up his boots as Scotland's all-time record cap holder.
The Liverpool left-back made his international debut as a sub against Poland in March 2014 and has since played 78 games for his country. Robertson will go level with Darren Fletcher on 80 caps, if, as expected, the skipper features in Scotland's remaining two Nations League games against Croatia tonight and Poland on Monday.
That would put him third on the list behind legendary keeper Jim Leighton on 91 and Sir Kenny Dalglish on 102. And boss Clarke believes his captain could eventually surpass King Kenny.

He said: "It's very conceivable Andy could become Scotland's all-time record cap holder... if Andy stays at the same level with the same level of performance. He's grown into the role of being captain and never lets his country down.
"There's no reason he can't go on and get that number if he gets a fair run with injuries and form over the next couple of years. Let's get him to 80 caps first and we'll start again next year. Then we can keep counting."
Scott McTominay is also climbing up the list on 56 and Clarke added: "It doesn't matter where I've played him - even at centre-back - he was still there for me. It just shows the quality he's got. To hit the ground running in Serie A isn't always easy. He's working under a really good head coach in Antonio Conte. Together they'll keep improving."
