Ange Postecoglou's big Tottenham problem highlighted as we simulated injury XI vs available XI clash
Tottenham's injury crisis is so bad right now, that you can make a full XI of injured players. So, what could happen in a match between Spurs' available and unavailable XI?
It seems that each game there are new injury problems for Spurs to deal with, with the Lilywhites having a bare-bone squad more than not in recent weeks. Defensive injuries have ruled out Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero for large chunks of the season, with these defensive absentees playing a big role in Spurs' troubles in the Premier League this season.
Ange Postecoglou's side currently sit 15th in the Premier League, and with Spurs still in the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League, these injury problems can't come to an end quicker. So, for a bit of fun, who would come out on top in a game between Spurs' available and unavailable XI? This is based on the fact that Micky van de Ven, who is coming back from injury tonight, has not been available and the fact that Yves Bissouma did not come onto the pitch on Sunday and Pape Matar Sarr was forced off.

Spurs' available vs unavailable XI score predicted by simulation
To complete this simulation, we faced Spurs against Spurs, editing both teams to only possess players who are either available or unavailable. We then let EA FC 25 play out the game to predict what could happen.
We lined up Spurs' available XI in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Kinsky; Porro, Dragusin, Davies, Reguilon; Gray, Bentancur, Bergvall; Kulusevski, Son, Moore.
We then lined up the Spurs unavailable XI in a 4-3-3 formation (and without injuries, of course), with their line-up as follows: Vicario; Spence, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie; Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison; Johnson, Solanke, Richarlison.
The available XI had more of the ball in the opening stages of the game, but against Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven, the attackers found it difficult to break through on goal and create any clear-cut chances. The issue that the unavailable XI had was going forward, with the front three of Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke, and Richarlison failing to impress.
But, 39 minutes in, it was the unavailable XI who took the lead.
With key defenders out, Spurs have been extra fragile defensively at times this season, and this was the case in the simulation, with Ben Davies being caught out to allow the unavailable XI to break through on goal. One-on-one, Johnson's shot was saved, but the ball fell to Solanke who headed into an empty net to make it 1-0.
Just before half-time, the unavailable XI doubled their lead when Solanke was brought down by Antonin Kinsky in the box, and the striker stepped up to take, firing his spot kick into the roof of the net. The available XI had it all to do in the second half, and their attacking talent was on full display as they pulled a goal back in the 62nd minute.
A well-worked team move saw Heung-Min Son and Mikey Moore combine on the left, with the latter using his pace to skip past Romero and break into the box. Moore rolled the ball into the path of Dejan Kulusevski, and the Swede fired into the top corner to make it 2-1.
Spurs' available XI dominated the second half as they searched for an equaliser, but the unavailable XI defended fantastically, showing what Spurs are currently missing as they held on for the win.
