Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has outlined that he has no plans to recall Manor Solomon from loan club Leeds United this month amid his good form.

The winger has provided two goals and three assists in his last four matches, with both of his strikes coming in his two most recent outings. Solomon was sent out on loan by Spurs this summer having missed the majority of last season after damaging the meniscus in his right knee, an injury which required surgery.

The attacker has found his feet again at Elland Road after overcoming a hamstring injury early on in the season. He currently sits on four goals and five assists in 21 matches.

Tottenham currently sit 15th in the Premier League table having lost 12 of their 22 matches so far. The club have brought in reinforcements this month amid their poor form, with goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky arriving from Slavia Prague and right-winger Min-hyeok Yang acquired from the K-League in South Korea.

There have been questions over whether Postecoglou could decide to recall any of his left wingers out on loan, namely Solomon and Bryan Gil, who is currently at Girona for the season. Asked whether either would be recalled, Postecoglou bluntly said: “No.”

Solomon arrived at Tottenham in the summer of 2023, just days after Postecoglou’s arrival as head coach was confirmed. Should the Australian be dismissed of his duties, Solomon’s future at the club could likewise become uncertain.

Speaking about his recent form to LeedsLive and other reporters following United’s 2-0 win over Norwich on Wednesday, Solomon said: “I'm really happy that in the last two months I've been feeling much better and I'm feeling really good. And I'm happy that that boss [Daniel Farke] has given me confidence and him letting me play my game. I just want to show results.”

He added: “I’m feeling really good, feeling that I'm back to myself. I'm feeling happy, confident. My injury is okay right now and I'm behind it, so yeah I'm happy I think I can get even better and I just want to continue like this.”
