Angus Kinnear makes Leeds United transfer admission amid Elland Road expansion plans update
Leeds United chief executive Angus Kinnear expects a "quiet" January transfer window and has provided an update on the redevelopment of Elland Road.
Minutes from the latest Leeds United Supporters Advisory Board (SAB) meeting have been released by the Championship leaders. Kinnear, the long-serving Whites CEO, was among those in attendance at the event last month.
"AK says confidence in the team is strong, demonstrated in Derby County match after Blackburn Rovers defeat," the document reads. "January will be quiet he expects but doesn’t rule anything out."

United announced plans to modernise their home ground and increase the capacity from 37,645 to 53,000 back in September. In the SAB meeting notes, Kinnear said: "Consultancy starting to take shape (on the stadium side) and positive progress continues to be made."
Kinnear introduced Ben Allen from Elevate, who the club have hired to lead a feasibility study into the stadium redevelopment. The document reads: "The company have real expertise and are entirely independent, consulting with supporters, stakeholders and market developments etc.
"Lucinda Yeadon, who attended previous meeting, focuses more on the community aspect of the redevelopment. BA discusses who the company have worked with in the USA and Europe.
"Consultancy will look into general admission/ hospitality seating, ticketing costs etc. Purpose for joining meeting is to understand current matchday limitations and how they can be addressed during the redevelopment." Allen asked the group for their feedback on what makes Elland Road unique and what would improve the matchday experience.
The document adds: "AK says the need for allocating the premium seating is done correctly, to ensure the atmosphereis retained. Discusses need for existing fans to migrate into similar areas. AK says premium seating will be an opportunity to keep general admission ticket prices fair. A 17k capacity increase would drastically reduce the Season Ticket Waiting List."
When quizzed on the academy's progress, Kinnear added player retention "can be difficult, but plans are in place to make further improvements on recruitment/ retention".
