Anne Hathaway Has the Most Excited Reaction While Watching the Eagles Win Super Bowl 2025
The actress was on hand to see her beloved team take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans
Anne Hathaway was every Eagles fan on Sunday!
As the football team held the Kansas City Chiefs scoreless for more than half of Super Bowl 2025, The Princess Diaries alum and Philly fan was seen in the suites, looking on in delight.
Dressed in a white shirt and wearing a green sweater draped on her shoulders, the actress, 42, smiled widely and held her head in her hands in seeming shock.
“The Princess of Genovia loves the Birds,” the NFL posted on social media alongside a photo of the star and a video of her cheering on the soon-to-be champs.

Philadelphia went on to dismantle the Chiefs 40-22 and end the franchise’s attempt to make NFL history by winning the title three years in a row.

For Hathaway, rooting for the Eagles is a nod to her family. Her parents, Kate McCauley Hathaway and Gerald “Jerry” Hathaway, met while students at LaSalle University in Philadelphia, and the star’s grandfather was Joe McCauley, a famed Philly radio personality.

Hathaway was far from the only famous face at Caesars Superdome who was hoping that the Eagles would fly on the road to victory.
Bradley Cooper celebrated on the field following the team’s resounding win.
“I’m just one of thousands and thousands that get the opportunity to love this team and live for this team, be a part of Philadelphia,” Cooper said in an interview with Fox Sports while on the field. “I used to come with my dad and now I get to bring my daughter, it’s just a beautiful thing in life."
He added, “It’s a miracle. I’m so blessed to be here and I love this team so much....What a squad.”
