Ao Tanaka's agent delivers view on player's future to put Leeds United on alert
The agent of Leeds United star Ao Tanaka says it is only a matter of time before people start questioning why the player is spending his time in the Championship with a Premier League move tipped.
Tanaka has proven to be a big hit since moving to Leeds in the summer, ending a 12 month pursuit of the Whites to land the Japan international from Fortuna Dusseldorf. After having to wait to get his chance, Tanaka has stepped into the midfield with ease and has been the standout player of the past two months after coming in to replace Ethan Ampadu.
The 26-year-old's all-action displays across the park has won him many admirers at Leeds and is also seeing other across the division take notice. Tanaka's agent Marijo Knez thinks it now won't be long before talk of the player extends beyond the English second tier.

Speaking to Fussball News, Knez said it won’t be long before clubs realise Tanaka is too good for the Championship “I assume so. With his style, he can be good for a possession-based team, "said Knez.
“One that wants to play a neat style of football. Many observers may soon be asking why he only plays in the second English league. I am firmly convinced that he can make it in the Premier League.
Tanaka signed a four-year deal with Leeds, who have high hopes the player will be a long term star for the team. While his agent believes he can play Premier League football, Leeds hope that will be with them next season and if not, they know full well from the past, that all players have their price in the transfer market.
