Applebee's named the 'official grill and bar' of the NFL in new multiyear partnership

Applebee's Grill and Bar has been named the "official grill and bar of the NFL" in a new multiyear partnership, the restaurant chain and football league announced Tuesday.

The partnership begins with next week's NFL Draft in an effort to "engage football fans" across the country with food and drinks on gameday at Applebee's restaurants or at home with Applebee's To Go, a news release said.

Applebee's has more than 1,500 restaurants across the country and is known for having a wide variety of items on its menu, including burgers, pasta, wings, salads and more.

"The NFL is excited to welcome Applebee's as our official grill and bar partner," said Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of sponsorship management at the NFL, in the news release. "Applebee's shares the league's commitment of providing best-in-class gameday experiences, and we're thrilled to be able to bring our fans together with Applebee's in the months and years ahead."

The partnership will also include national broadcast television investments as well as presence at NFL tentpole events.

Applebee's offer free wings to kick off road to Super Bowl LIX

Applebee's is offering customers 20 free boneless wings with a $40 online purchase during the 2024 NFL Draft, according to the news release.

From Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27, customers can order to go or delivery directly from or the Applebee's mobile app at participating locations, limit one order of 20 free boneless wings per order.
