Armstrong scores on West Brom debut in dramatic late win
SAINTS forward Adam Armstrong scored on his West Brom debut in a dramatic additional time win over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Armstrong, who joined the Baggies on loan until the end of the season on deadline day, put Tony Mowbray's side ahead on 74 minutes.
He volleyed in after Tom Fellows delivered an inviting cross into the six-yard box, ending his 76-day wait for a goal.
Callum Paterson thought he had levelled the game on 93 minutes before Jayson Molumby secured all three points at the Hawthorns.
Defender Kyle Bartley was shown a red card three minutes later following a post-match scrap.
The victory has drawn West Brom into the play-off places, however, they have played an additional game currently.
