Arnautovic's brother talks up move as Man Utd fans back potential transfer
Manchester United fans want Jose Mourinho to sign West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic in the winter transfer window.
Arnautovic was first linked with a move last summer as Mourinho was reported to be after a striker to provide competition to Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku has since struggled to match last year’s form and Arnautovic is now being rumoured to be a target for the former Premier League champions once again.
A poll in the Manchester Evening News suggests that United fans would be happy to see the Austrian international striker reunite with his former Inter Milan manager, Mourinho.

The poll revealed the 65% of respondents would be happy to see Arnautovic join the Red Devils. 28& said ‘yes, he’d be a starter for the club, and another 37% answered ‘yes, but only as a back-up option’.
That left 35% of the responses for ‘no, Arnautovic is not good enough’.
Arnautovic’s brother and agent, Danijel, backed the chances of a move claiming West Ham are not good enough to be anything other than a stepping stone for the 29 year old.
“He’s already playing in the Premier League and that’s where the best players are. But for a player like Marko this cannot be the end,” Danijel said.
“He’s a big part of West Ham’s team but I think it’s possible to tease out more of him. For that to happen, he has to play for a top team.
“Marko is ready for the next step. A player like him should not play against relegation. He should play for the international spots.
“Marko is really enjoying playing for West Ham.
“He loves that club and the fans. But there is still that feeling, that this cannot be the end. And everybody should understand that.”
