Arne Slot directly asked about Liverpool 'transfer target' Milos Kerkez
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot was asked about possible transfer target Milos Kerkez after the Hungarian left-back impressed while facing the Reds at the Vitality Stadium. But the Dutchman was in no mood to give much away.
Kerkez did well for Bournemouth as the Cherries lost 2-0 to Liverpool in a tightly-contested match on the south coast. And he has been linked multiple times with the Reds in recent weeks, with The i Paper suggesting last month that he was Slot's top target in that position ahead of the summer.
Existing options Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas have both failed to fully convince so far this season with left-back a potential priority for Liverpool to look at during the summer. Kerkez, who was signed by current Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes when he was at the Bournemouth helm, is one of a number of names which have been mentioned.

"I don't think I have to talk about players that we are interested in, let alone a player from Bournemouth," Slot said during his post-match press conference. "He is over here and he is having a great season as many, many other players are having here as well.
"That shows you how good of a manager you have over here and what a great sporting director you had over here (Richard Hughes) and maybe still have now, I don't know who it is.
"But he (Hughes) brought in many good players and the manager works with every player to bring them in an incredible way, including the one you just mentioned. But I am not talking about an individual, they are all bringing the best out of their game at the moment."
Liverpool.com says: Kerkez was really impressive here. He dealt pretty well with Mohamed Salah down that side of the pitch (he could do nothing with either of the goals that the Egyptian scored)
