Arne Slot 'dissatisfied' as Liverpool fails to deliver 'complete' performance vs Ipswich
Arne Slot said that Liverpool almost produced the "complete performance" versus Ipswich at Anfield, but admitted he was disappointed with the team for conceding a late consolation goal.
The Reds were utterly dominant against Kieran McKenna's relegation-threatened side and the result was never really in any doubt after Dominik Szoboszlai gave them the lead after 10 minutes.
Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo each scored before half-time, before Gakpo scored again in the second half to put Slot's side four goals to the good.
With the game petering out, Ipswich gave its travelling fans something to shout about as Jacob Greaves headed home from a corner in the 90th minute.

While in the grand scheme of things that goal is unlikely to matter when all is said and done this season, it did take the gloss off the victory for Liverpool head coach Slot.
"Decent, dominant, scoring four goals is always nice," Slot said when asked to give his assessment of Liverpool's performance. "We hardly gave away any chances at all, I don't think we conceded almost any counter-attacks, which is not always easy if you play against a low block and the fast strikers and wingers they have.
"Unfortunately we conceded from a set piece towards the end, because if we hadn't have done that it would have been a complete performance. Because of that, we are a bit dissatisfied with the goal we conceded."
Szoboszlai scored the pick of the afternoon's goals and Slot was pleased for the midfielder for getting on the scoresheet. He said: "The lead-up to the goal was impressive. Ibou [Konate] played a big part in that, played the ball through the lines, great first touch [from Szoboszlai]. At first I thought, 'play it to Mo', but he decided to go for himself and he scored a goal. It's pleasing to see for him because he's working so so hard for the team every single game, and that he now comes up with a goal is also pleasing for him."
