Arne Slot faces triple Liverpool dilemma for Spurs including possible Alexis Mac Allister headache
With 10 goals having been scored in its last two Premier League matches — the 3-3 draw at Newcastle and 2-2 tie with Fulham — Liverpool has been involved in some exciting games lately. And with Spurs up next, that is unlikely to change.
Under Ange Postecoglou, Tottenham is nothing if not entertaining. Midweek, it beat Manchester United by four goals to three in the Carabao Cup, setting up a semi-final double-header with the Reds.
Ahead of the Premier League clash this weekend, only Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate are set to be missing. And that will mean Arne Slot has plenty to think about in terms of team selection.

Jamie Carragher names 'big question' Trent Alexander-Arnold faces with Liverpool contract warning
Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah will return, but Liverpool will need to make some big calls elsewhere. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez only played 45 minutes at Southampton with this game in mind. They will start but there is a decision to be made over whether to play the no-longer-suspended Andy Robertson or the now-returned Kostas Tsimikas.
In midfield, Alexis Mac Allister could retain his place, and it is likely to be three from four out of the Argentine, Ryan Gravenberch, Curtis Jones, and Dominik Szoboszlai. None of the latter three played in the midweek match, which could make them favorites to start at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In that case, though, Mac Allister would drop to the bench.
A similar-sized dilemma has emerged in attack. It seems unlikely that Darwin Nunez would start, even though he scored at Southampton, while Federico Chiesa isn't yet sharp enough and still needs more time.
But there is a big decision to be made on who starts as the number nine. Cody Gakpo is in good form but bringing Luis Diaz back in could mean Diogo Jota — now back from injury — missing out. Mohamed Salah is a certainty to play off the right.
