Arne Slot issues Curtis Jones injury update ahead of Liverpool v Ipswich
Arne Slot has revealed Curtis Jones won't be available for Liverpool's Premier League game against Ipswich Town on Saturday due to injury.
The midfielder picked up a knock in the midweek Champions League win over Lille and Slot explained afterwards that Jones told the manager he 'needed to come off' and had to be replaced at half-time.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's game, Slot was asked about the injury status of the 23-year-old.

"He went out during half-time which is mostly not a good sign and it was not, as he won't be available for the game tomorrow," the Dutchman explained.
"The rest we have to wait and see. I'm not expecting months of course, but we have to wait and let's see if he's available for PSV and Bournemouth."
The absence is a blow for the Reds given Jones impressive form this season, and means Dominik Szoboszlai will likely start in an advanced midfield role, behind Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister.
Elsewhere, Joe Gomez and Diogo Jota are both still missing through injury, while Slot was asked about Ibrahima Konate's recent comments that he is playing through pain at present.
"I think you have seen how we try to manage that. We skipped him [out of matches] twice and Jarell [Quansah] played, and the Accrington Stanley game he didn't play as well. That is maybe a bit because he has still some pain his knee - don't exaggerate it.
"He feels it but it is okay for him to play. It is more the load when you are aware that a player is out for five or six weeks and then playing him every game, that is, in our opinion a certain risk, so we always try to manage that. I think he now comes to a moment where he would be able to play three times a week."
Liverpool head into Saturday's game six points clear at the top of the table, and have a game in hand on the chasing pack. Ipswich is 18th, with goal difference alone seeing the Tractor Boys located in the relegation zone.
