Arsenal: Aaron Ramsdale race hots up amid Wolves and Bournemouth interest

Arsenal are weighing up a loan bid from Wolves for goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The offer would see Wolves take on the majority of Ramsdale's wages and includes an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

Bournemouth are also interested in taking Ramsdale on loan, but would not currently pursue a permanent deal.

Ramsdale, who still has two years to run on his contract, lost his place to David Raya last summer.

Arsenal would prefer to sell the England goalkeeper rather than loan him out, but could be open to a deal with Wolves due to their own interest in Dan Bentley.

The Gunners failed with a bid for Wolves' shot-stopper Bentley earlier in the window, but it remains to be seen if they will reignite their interest.

Espanyol’s Joan Garcia is another possible replacement for Ramsdale.
