Arsenal have three first-team players who are in the final six months of their contracts at the club.

Thomas Partey is the most prominent, with the midfielder already making more appearances than last season after re-establishing himself in the team after an injury-affected previous campaign. That has not been the case for Kieran Tierney, though, as he appears likely to leave the Gunners after six years once this season ends, if not earlier, and potentially return to Celtic.

The defender has played just once this term in last month's Carabao Cup quarter-final against Crystal Palace after tearing his hamstring while playing for Scotland during last summer's European Championship. Jorginho is the third, and that is where today's football.london transfer round-up begins.

Jorginho offered Arsenal exit

Mikel Arteta acknowledged earlier this month that the club have delayed contract talks with Jorginho and Partey to focus purely on football rather than their future. ESPN now claims the midfielder is considering leaving the club this month.

They report that the Brazilian club Palmeiras have had Jorginho offered to them. They and Flamengo are said to be the only two clubs he would return home to play for.

football.london says: Jorginho leaving midway through this season would be a blow to the Gunners. While the midfielder does not always play every match, Arteta values the player's presence around the team, which would probably be difficult to replace in the short term.

Zinchenko transfer deal pending

Inter Milan are reputedly ready to make an offer for Oleksandr Zinchenko, but Fenerbahce are also reportedly interested in the player. National media outlets claim Arteta is open to allowing Zinchenko to leave this month after barely playing the Ukraine international this season.

Turkish sports newspaper Fotospor now reports that the Istanbul team that Jose Mourinho currently coaches are awaiting the outcome of any talks between his their coach's former employers at the Gunners. However, they are reputedly willing to make an offer to Arsenal.

football.london says: Untimely injuries have limited how much Zinchenko has played this season, but even when fit, the full-back has regularly remained an unused substitute. He now has 18 months remaining on his contract with the club, so a transfer this month would make sense if no extension is forthcoming.

However, after falling out of favour this campaign, it remains to be seen how much of the £30million transfer fee the Gunners paid Manchester City they may recoup. If an amount around that figure is on offer, then parting ways would make sense, with Arteta now entrusting Lewis Myles-Skelly to play ahead of Zinchenko.
