Arsenal braced for huge transfer blow in Man United repeat as 'medical booked'
Arsenal talent Ayden Heaven is reportedly set to leave Hale End to join Manchester United with the Reds booking a medical over a possible move.
Any deal for the 18-year-old will pose a significant blow for the Gunners after another high-profile departure, following Chido Obi-Martin following a similar path to Old Trafford in the summer.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Heaven has rejected a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, as well as an approach from Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt and now the Manchester Evening News is reporting that 'United are close to striking an agreement' for the player. The England under-19 international featured during pre-season with Mikel Arteta's side and the centre-back was handed his competitive debut in a 10-minute cameo during the 3-0 win over Preston North End in the Carabao Cup.

"Very impressive," Arteta said following a summer display from Heaven. "I don’t know how many players are able to do that on a stage like this [at his age].
"He’s lost a duel against [Rasmus Hojlund], one of the strongest and fastest players in the world, it can happen. But the reaction afterwards, the composure, the quality, the body language that he had were all remarkable. I’m really happy with him."
Arteta failed to be drawn on the prospect of losing Heaven, speaking last week he said: "I cannot talk about anything."
United are set to repeat their transfer trick after landing Obi-Martin in the summer.
The Red Devils landed the highly-rated attacker after he rejected a new deal in North London.
Obi-Martin broke multiple records during his career at the Gunners, collecting a number of goal-gluts during that time.
The 17-year-old has been in fine form for United's under-18s, scoring five goals in as many games as well as adding four goals in two Youth Cup matches - after scoring twice in comprehensive wins over Coventry and Preston North End.
