Arsenal can complete two deals this week amid Viktor Gyokeres and Dusan Vlahovic transfer talk
The January transfer window has been open for just under a week and Arsenal are yet to add any additions to Mikel Arteta's squad.
Young defender Josh Robinson has been the only player to depart the club so far this month, with the 20-year-old joining League One side Wigan Athletic in a permanent transfer. It's possible further deals are announced this week, though, with potentially two exits on the cards.
Kieran Tierney could finally leave the club, with the left-back definitely departing north London either in January or in the summer when his contract expires. The club decided against activating an option to extend his contract and he is free to leave.

football.london understands Tierney is in talks with Celtic over a return to his former club though no contact has been made with Arsenal as of yet. The Scotland international made more than 100 appearances for Celtic between 2015 and 2019, helping the Scottish giants to back-to-back domestic trebles.
Tierney has made just one appearance for Arsenal this season despite the north Londoners' injury issues in defence, although he has been named on the bench for the past eight Premier League fixtures. Celtic fans were even heard singing Tierney's name during the 3-0 win against St Mirren at the weekend, although Brendan Rodgers refused to discuss the prospect of a reunion post-match.
“There was a few things that I may have overheard at the end there," the Celtic boss said, per Daily Record. "That’s a total lack of respect. Of course there is. Greg Taylor, he's been absolutely amazing at this club. How does he feel?
“He nearly breaks his nose, bleeding for the club, for a cause. It's not very respectful. You sing for another player, no matter what Kieran’s history is. I don't like that. There's lots of speculation, lots of names, but I wouldn't add anything to it.”
Another player who could be leaving Arsenal this week is Marquinhos. The Gunners are in talks with Brazilian club Cruzeiro over a loan for the winger following the completion of his stint with Fluminense, football.london understands.
Fluminense opted against making the deal permanent and Marquinhos could be sent out on loan again as he is surplus to requirements at Emirates Stadium. Talks with Cruzeiro are understood to be ongoing to determine the details of the loan deal that would see Marquinhos return to his homeland. Arsenal want an obligation-to-buy clause included in the move so that it brings a close to the case of the player in north London.
On the incomings front, football.london understands Arsenal will be more reactive than proactive in the January transfer window, with Arteta previously admitting his side are "ready" if an opportunity arises. One player who continues to be linked with a move is Viktor Gyokeres.
The Sporting CP striker has scored 30 goals in 28 appearances this season and is one of the most prolific forwards in Europe. The Gunners may need to be patient over a deal, though, as Gyokeres has apparently told his agent, Hasan Cetinkaya, that he only wishes to leave Sporting at the end of the season, reports Sport Bild.
Dusan Vlahovic is another striker the Gunners are said to be tracking, with it becoming 'increasingly likely' he will leave Juventus, according to CaughtOffside. The report says that the club are likely to set an asking price of around €65million (£53.9million) although it remains to be seen if the Gunners will pay such a fee in January.
