Arsenal confirm new contract talks for three academy stars as 22 leave

Arsenal are in talks with Amario Cozier-Duberry, Reuell Walters and Karl Hein over extending their contracts.

The current deals for the academy trio all expire at the end of the month but the Gunners have confirmed offers to keep them in north London.

Estonia international Hein, 22, has only made one senior appearance for Arsenal and acted as back-up to David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale last season.

Walters, 19, also featured on the first-team bench a handful of times but like Cozier-Dubbery, also 19, is yet to feature for Mikel Arteta’s team. Both have been regulars for the Under-21s side which reached the Premier League 2 quarter-finals and have played for England at youth level.

Arsenal have also announced the departures of 22 players from their men’s, women’s and academy teams for the end of the campaign.

Cedric Soares and Mohamed Elneny head the list of senior players alongside women’s players Sabrina D’Angelo and Vivianne Miedema.
